i) Attach a cashier’s check or personal check in favor of “State Bank of India (California)” for the amount of the remittance plus our charges. Please attach a photocopy of your current driving license or any other photo I.D.
ii) If visiting our office in person, you may also pay by cash up to USD $2500 or if by credit card up to your cash advance limit , or USD $2500 whichever is lower. Faxed request for remittance using your credit card can be accepted only up to USD
$1000.
iii) If you are visiting our office in person and are paying cash or cashier’s check or credit card, the draft will be handed over to you immediately. In other cases the draft will be prepared as soon as possible and it will be mailed to you

Procedure is the same as applicable to Draft. Your cashier’s check should include our charges.
i) Please allow for a hold period for collection of your personal check.
ii) Please ask for details of how to wire funds to us. Faxed request for remittance using your credit card can be accepted only up to USD $1000.
