Remittance Process

Remittance service is available to all current State Bank of India (California) account holders.

Remittances can be completed in the following ways:

  • Online (up to $10,000.00 daily)
  • In person
  • Fax (prearranged fax agreement must be on file with the branch)


Schedules

  • If funds are available on the account, the remittance will be processed on the same day.
  • If funds are based on a cashier’s check, the remittance will be processed on the next business day.
  • If funds are based on a personal check up to five thousand dollars ($5,000.00), the remittance will be processed on the 2nd business day.
  • It funds are based on a personal check above five thousand dollars ($5,000.01), a hold policy applies. Please refer to our "Funds Availability Policy" here for details.
