Remittance Process

Remittance Services to India are available to all State Bank of India (California) account holders.

Remittances can be completed in the following ways:

  • In person at any SBIC branches
  • Fax (preauthorized agreements must be on file with your branch of account)
  • Online (up to $10,000.00 per day)

For Personal Accounts Only (Non-Business)

You can cancel your Remittance transfer for a full refund within 30 minutes of payment/request by calling 1-855-215-0903. If you think there has been an error or problem, please call us at 1-877-707-1995 within 180 day of the Remittance transfer in question.

  • A hold Policy applies on all deposits — please refer to our Funds Availability Disclosure for details.
  • For more information regarding the Bank's Error Resolution procedures, please click here.
  • The Bank considers "per day" from 4:00pm PST to 3:59:59pm PST on the following calendar day.
